Transit to serve as anchor for new developments along Penn Ave.

With the $32 million dollar "C Line" Bus Rapid Transit line coming in 2016, Penn Ave. is becoming an attractive corridor for redevelopment. Affordable housing projects at Penn's Intersections with Golden Valley Road and West Broadway are planned. In addition to affordable housing, a grocery store, an expanded NorthPoint Health and Wellness Center, and mixed-use corporate headquarters for Push Interative are also planned along the corridor.

Transit investment has proven to act as a catalyst for new development in other areas of the City, and a planned BRT or Streetcar line along West Broadway could be the investment the corridor needs to kick start new developments. Let me know what sort of new development you would like to see along West Broadway?
